Resolving Team Visibility Issue After Deletion in Mattermost

Problem
After deleting a team (for example using mmctl and other methods) the team remains visible in the Mattermost Console. Attempting to archive the team results in the error: "Unable to find the existing team."

Solution:
This issue commonly arises due to caching behavior in the Mattermost desktop application. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Mattermost desktop application.
  2. Navigate to the top menu and select View.
  3. Click on Clear Cache and Reload.

This action refreshes the application's cache, after which the deleted team should no longer appear in the Mattermost Console.
