I Forgot My Mattermost Password

System Admins can reset your password using either the:

• Mattermost CLI user password command
• mmctl user reset-password command

System Admins can reset your password using the Mattermost mmctl user reset-password command.

If the usual password reset methods aren't working, please open a Support ticket with us through the Mattermost Customer Portal.

If the password reset flow is not working, or your company is using LDAP or SAML as a login method, you'll need to reach out to your company's Mattermost Admin. A good place to start is your IT department.

Reach out to your Mattermost Cloud workspace System Admin to have them reset your password.
